Graduate Programs Encourage the development of mathematics in the Philippines through the production of highly trained mathematicians whose research works contribute to the development of new knowledge. BS in Mathematics It covers major areas in pure mathematics complemented by extensive exposure to mathematical applications in statistics. The highly anticipated 6th NVSU Mathematics Festival convened young learners from various elementary and secondary schools in Nueva Vizcaya to celebrate mathematical prowess, May 16-17, 2023.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) program under the College of Arts and Sciences of the Nueva Vizcaya State University is currently undergoing Level IV Phase II Revisit accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) from May 29–31 via Zoom platform.

The faculty and staff of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) joined other Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) employees in paying tribute to the late Hon. Carlos M. Padilla, the former governor of Nueva Vizcaya, on May 8, 2023.

Hon. Padilla was known to be the father of NVSU who authored RA 9272 which merged two state-run institutions in Bambang and Bayombong, finally realizing a long-held vision for the region.
