CAS bags over-all champ in Barkada Fest 2017

The College of Arts and Sciences bagged the over-all Champion in the different contested activities during Barkada Fest held on March 21-22, 2017 at the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bayombong Campus.

Among eight (8) competing colleges of the university, CAS grabbed the following different awards: 1^st  Place, Padyak (Street Dancing Competition); 1^st Place, NVSU Got Talent; 3^rd Place, Float Parade; 4^th Place, Tarpaulin Making; and 8^th Place, Booth Display. The College of Arts and Sciences Student Council (CASSC) made auditions for the different activities.  After a weeklong selection, the selected participants had their  practice.

The said event was sponsored by the Northern Campus Student Supreme Council (NCSSC). Moreover, Barkada Fest is a part of celebrating the centennial anniversary of the university with the theme, “Waving the Strands of Excellence and Peace for Service.” Its primary objective is to create camaraderie and unity among students in the university.
