NVSU gets 7.2-M grant from CHED for the upgrading of campuses backbone to fiber optic

Nueva Vizcaya State University, duly represented by OIC President Ruth Raña Padilla together with the Smart Campus Team Project Leader Dr. Fidel G. Patricio Jr received today, October 29, the Memorandum of Agreement from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) granting the 7.2 million worth of approved project intended in upgrading of campuses’ backbone to fiber optic.

The said project is under R.A No. 11494 or the “Bayanihan to Recover as One Act” which provides funds to assist State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the development of smart campuses through investments in ICT infrastructure, acquisition of learning management systems and other appropriate equipment to fully implement flexible learning modalities.
