One of the eight programs offered at Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bayombong Campus which underwent the recently concluded program accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) was the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).

Held simultaneously with other programs from September 18-20, 2024 via hybrid platform, the BS Math program was subjected to Level IV, Phase 2 survey through the assigned AACCUP accreditors: Dr. Analyn Gamit, coordinator, Dr. Alberto  Yazon, team leader, and Dr. Romeo Quintos, Jr., team member.

The accreditors evaluated the program in five key areas: Research, Performance of Graduates, Community Service, International Linkage and Consortia, and Well-developed Planning Processes.

From NVSU CAS, the following faculty members of the concerned program consolidated the pertinent documents beforehand and were later interviewed for verification and supplementary information regarding their respective areas:

Through AACCUP, the NVSU and its colleges, including CAS, continuously undergo competent assessments to ensure program and institutional quality assurance based on national and international standards.

The survey results may be released in more or less six months upon the AACCUP's Board of Trustees' approval.
