CAS Gather for A Two-Day Team Building Activity at Gajes Resort

In a two-day Sem-ender activity, the College of Arts and Sciences organized a team-building  on May 30-31 held at Gajes Resort, Bascaran, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, to foster camaraderie, collaboration, and wellness among CAS faculty and staffs.

Day 1 kicked off with the 4th Academic Council Meeting and College Meeting to discuss important academic matters. Department Chairs presented candidates for the upcoming  graduation for SY 2023-2024, 2nd Semester, as well as candidates with deficiencies. Other point of discussions were submission deadlines for IPCR, grades, and portfolio; and faculty loading for 1st Semester, SY 2024-2025. Following the meeting, a Gender Awareness and Development fellowship activity was facilitated by the faculty themselves to promote inclusivity and mutual respect within the college.

The day concluded with a socialization night and a surprise birthday party for Prof. Lany Dullas who happened to celebrate her day during the same date. The evening resonated so much laughter, heartfelt words, games, good music, dances, and prizes, making it more exciting and memorable for everyone.

The fun continues on its second day with a Zumba Sesh as the college also promotes physical well-being of the faculty members.  Then came more parlor games to encourage friendly competition as well as to build team spirit among everyone through fun games. During lunch, faculty and staff shared sumptuous meals and stories, providing them with a more energized vibe and a personal touch to the gathering.

This concluding activity of the college is a laid-back celebration as we gear up again towards greater heights.
