Faculty members and retirees from the College of Arts and Sciences, along with all employees from the Bambang and Bayombong Campuses, participated in the University Gala Night held on March 21, 2024 at the University Gymnasium, NVSU Bayombong.

The Gala Night this year was made more memorable because it featured the Saludo sa Retirado, which paid tribute to all former NVSU employees, and the Women's Month Celebration, which championed gender equality, women's empowerment, and social justice.

The three-in-one event, which convened present and past NVSU employees, was one of the highlights of the 20th Charter Anniversary Celebration that aimed to involve and unite these sectors of the university.

In celebrating Women's Month, former NVSU OIC President and Regent Ruth R. Padilla, who served as the guest speaker during the event, encouraged women to take up space in their respective communities and revered the retirees for having laid the foundation of the institution to what it is today.

Meanwhile, the pioneering set of officers of the Retirees' Association, led by their association president, Dr. Loreta Vivian Galima, was formally inducted into office by Regent Padilla. This was followed by the formal induction of the elected officers, four of whom are from the CAS, of the Federated Faculty Association Inc., whose two-year term will begin on April 1, 2024.

Mr. Nathaniel A. Aliguyon was elected as Assistant Secretary. Mr. Jose R. Comia, Jr. was elected as Business Manager. Prof. Fermila Cauilan and Asst. Prof. Karen D. Taclay were elected as members of the Board of Directors.

Making lasting memories at the Gala Night, the attendees enjoyed a series of intermission numbers from the retirees' group and community dancing and singing. Before the event ended, various prizes were awarded to winners of the raffle draws.
