CAS Student Council named best organization for SY 2022-2023

The College of Arts and Sciences Student Council (CASSC) shined at the prestigious Student Organizations' (SO) Awards Ceremony held on June 9, 2023, at the NVSU Gymnasium. Outperforming 61 other accredited student organizations, the CASSC achieved an impressive overall sixth place as the Best Student Organization for the school year 2022–2023.

The CASSC garnered well-deserved recognition in various award categories, securing its spot in the Top 10 Best Student Organizations. They claimed the Top 1 position in the highly competitive Best Academic Activities category, solidifying their commitment to cultivating intellectual growth and fostering an environment conducive to academic excellence. Furthermore, the CASSC secured the prestigious Top 2 spot in the Best SO in the Cultural Awareness category, showcasing their commendable efforts in promoting inclusivity and celebrating the richness of cultural diversity within the university community. Their impactful projects and initiatives earned them another Top 2 placement, this time in the Best SO in the Projects category, demonstrating their ability to drive meaningful change and positively impact campus. In recognition of their exceptional commitment to community engagement and outreach, the CASSC proudly clinched the Top 3 position in the Best SO in the Extension category, highlighting their dedication to making a significant difference beyond the boundaries of the university.
