CS & IT provide computer literacy

With the vision of promoting Computer Literacy among Novo Vizcayanos, the departments of Computer Science and Information Technology of the College of Arts and Sciences-Nueva Vizcaya State University, Bayombong Campus offered a Basic Computer Literacy Tutorial Program and Training on MS Excel, Financial, and Database Functions.

The said program started at the Barangay Poblacion North, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya on July, 2013 with the Sangguniang Barangay Officials and interested individuals as clienteles, and another Memorandum of Agreement has been signed between Bonfal Pilot Central School (BPCS), CS and IT departments on July, 2016 wherein their clienteles of the program are teachers of the said school.

The Training on MS Excel, Financial, and Database Functions catered Barangay Officials in preparation of their Budget Plan while "Kompyuting" or Basic Computer Literacy Program served DepEd teachers of BPCS.

During an interview with the Program Extension Coordinator, Ms.Joan Hazel V. Tiongson cited that the continuous patronage of the Tutorial Program by their clienteles is a proof of their success and an honor to be able to share their expertise.
