Almost 100 secondary and tertiary education institutions converged to present the findings of their multidisciplinary researches at the Commission of Higher Education (CHED)-endorsed Aguman Ning Belwan Conference (ANBC) held on April 17-19, 2024 at the Quest Plus Conference Center Clark, Mimosa Leisure Estate, Mimosa Drive, Pampanga.

The global gathering themed “Warranting a Future-proof society through Academic and Research Innovations” was organized by Tarlac State University, Ming Chi University of Technology, and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

CAS faculty researchers Assoc. Prof. Romana Dulnuan, Assoc. Prof. Joan Piñon, and Nathaniel Aliguyon attended the convention and presented their paper titled “Flowing Down Magat River: The Stories of Five Tributaries,” which featured five potential Bayombong waterfalls and their significance to culture, tourism, and local governance.

This university-in-house-completed study emerged from a series of cultural mapping engagements initiated by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts, Provincial Government Unit of Nueva Vizcaya, and NVSU.

The ANBC aimed to create a platform for disseminating research and project outputs to inform, inspire, and involve the academic and professional communities across disciplines and affiliations. It aimed to strengthen research alliance and collaboration among researchers in the country.
