College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) as a strong and vibrant service and degree-offering college, the first among equals, in a premier university. Contributory to the Mission of the Nueva Vizcaya State University and in line with its vision of a strong and vibrant college, the College of Arts and Sciences shall provide general education courses to all students from the other colleges of the University, and to serve the special needs of other colleges for major courses in the disciplines of the Arts and Sciences. It shall also offer relevant degree courses that stand to benefit the community in particular and the global community in general.The College of Arts and Sciences is geared towards the preparation of students for responsible, creative and useful membership and leadership in the society through innovative designed to stimulate and develop creative, analytical and critical thinking, effective communication and sound judgment, without sacrificing aesthetic, ethical and cultural values.

Graduate Programs Encourage the development of mathematics in the Philippines through the production of highly trained mathematicians whose research works contribute to the development of new knowledge. Corollary to this main objective is the upgrading of mathematics teaching in colleges and universities.






BS in Mathematics It covers major areas in pure mathematics complemented by extensive exposure to mathematical applications in statistics. It teaches students the proper use of problem-solving approaches to investigate and understand mathematical content and analyze mathematical statements and construct proofs/solutions.






BS in Computer Science Understand and appreciate the implementation and use of computing systems, study its architecture and its interactions of hardware and software. Learn and develop strategies for effective design and their applications.






BS in Information Technology Develop software applications in desktop, web, mobile and various platforms. Identify and implement methods and practices to manage data infrastructure in IT. Learn how to design, implement, and evaluate computer-based systems and processes to meet information technology-based needs.

Over 2,000 students enrolled in various General Education (GE) subjects, including Communication, Arts, Foreign Languages, Philippine Literature, and Business Communication, assembled for the second Communication and Arts Day at the University Gymnatorium on November 28, 2023, with the theme, "Gaining Excellence in Comm-Arts toward Productive Education Outcomes."
